This light has a heat-resistant porcelain base designed to withstand the heat of a 250W powerful bulb. Ideal for use with Heat Wave Lamps (porcelain heat emitters), built-in ballast fluorescent bulbs and all types of incandescent bulbs. The protective grid prevents unnecessary accumulation of heat. This is the only clip-on light that meets all safety regulations when used with the Exo Terra Heat Wave Lamp bulb.
