Their manufacture is carried out according to specific rules, they are fired in an open oven, running on so-called clean fuels. Gold Label

Clay Balls   are free of heavy materials or other pathogens! The 16-25 millimeter diameter beads provide stability and excellent structure for plant roots and retention of beneficial bacteria!

Use :

Rinse and then soak them before you use them the first time. Measure the acidity, usually they have a high pH. Decrease with pH - to an appropriate stable pH.

If you have had an illness or infection, disinfect the substrate with a hydrogen peroxide solution.

The recommended pH is 5.5 - 6.5, the optimum is around 6.2.
