Controlling snails and slugs Ferramol Limacide® is a good tool for controlling snails and slugs. Will not harm pets, birds, hedgehogs, earthworms, bees or other beneficial animals. Snails and slugs prefer pellets to plants. Most slugs retreat to their hiding places to die. Slugs stop secreting mucus and die. Exceptionally resistant to rain thanks to innovative feed technology. After eating Ferramol Limacide®, slugs and snails stop eating because the product makes them feel full. Slugs retreat to their hiding places where they starve and die. The product has a patented composition and a novel method of operation, which means, among other things, that the repellent is not damaged by rain or humid weather conditions, when slugs are particularly active. Wet pellets are especially active in attracting slugs. In dry areas, the granules should be moistened from time to time, if there is no rain. The pellets can be moistened several times without damaging them.
